Students from UMBC: We’re sharing this information from the first part of the today’s seminar on Teaching and Learning, http://my.umbc.edu/groups/promise/events/7230: Speaker – Jill Randles, Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education.
If you’re interested in learning more about the “First Year Experience” seminar:
—————–
Join us for lunch on Wednesday, September 28, 12:00 – 1:00 in Commons 329 to
learn more about two great teaching opportunities for graduate students
within our First Year Experience program.
Two Teaching Opportunities available:
IHU – Introduction to an Honors University
TRS – Transfer Student Seminar
Please RSVP by Monday, September 19 to Barbara Smith, bsmith@umbc.edu
Jill Randles discussed this program at today’s Teaching and Learning Seminar/TA Training. She encourages graduate students to RSVP for the lunch on Sept. 28 to learn more. Former graduate students who have taken advantage of this opportunity have found it to be very rewarding.
Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I
provide credit and sources back to your blog?
My website is in the exact same niche as yours and my visitors would truly benefit from some of the information you present here.
Please let me know if this okay with you. Thank you!
